robinhoodbbchulamoth)Right, someone sometime a long time ago posted reviews of that Big Finish produced season 3 audiobook with the white stag, called The Deer Hunters? Narrated by Sam Troughton, and including guest appearances by Prince John. Anyone remember where I can find a review? (and please, PLEASE tell me that there were Classical references throughout?) Or any reviews of the other books? I already own (and adore) Witchfinders and The Siege, the two Richard Armitage narrated pieces, and I remember talking to some people about the others.
And while we're at it, which ones have you listened to? Which did you prefer? Which were terrible and which should have replaced, uhm, particular episodes?

irony_rocks)This has been a busy week for cancellations. The latest addition to the TV graveyard: Dollhouse. According to multiple insiders, Fox has informed Joss Whedon that it will not be ordering additional episodes beyond the current 13-episode order. The network still plans to burn off the remaining episodes beginning in December. Source.
It's sad, but I honestly don't care as long as they give me one ep with Dominic. Just one. *holds out pathetic hope* Other than that, though, it's sad to say that I'm actually alright with the cancellation. DH left s1 on a high note, but I don't think s2 lived up to the potential, and then the one ep that was truly masterfully done this year was also the most squickiest episode ever. I wish we could get some Victor/Sierra resolution (or, y'know, even find out Victor's real name), but I knew this cancellation was coming since the season premiere ratings came out. I've been preparing myself, and the fact that I haven't missed DH during the last two week hiatus says a lot.
RIP, Dollhouse.
I think the thing I'll miss most about this show is actually the awesome, insanely talented, and incredibly active people over at dewitt_dominic. We were the most active corner of the fandom, and I love you for all the awesome fanfiction, icons, artwork, picspams, vids, etc... You guys rocked. *sniffles*
